Private alpha · by invitation
The alpha is small on purpose.
We'd rather have thirty people who open it every morning than a thousand who use it once. If that sounds like you, ask for a place below.
What you get
- The real build. TestFlight on iOS, or a direct install on Android. Updated as we ship.
- A direct line. You email the two of us, not a support queue.
- Actual influence. At this size, one good bug report changes what gets built next week.
What we ask
- Use it in the morning, for real. The only test that counts is whether you wore what it said.
- Tell us when it's wrong. Especially when it's confidently wrong.
- Expect rough edges. Some days it will be embarrassing.
Not yet on the stores
The Daily Layer isn't on the App Store or Google Play. This is a private build we send to named testers, so there's nothing to search for — the invitation is the only way in.

Request received
Got it — you’re on the list. When a spot opens up, you’ll get a TestFlight or Firebase invite at .
What happens to this
We store your email address, which phone you picked, whichever boxes you ticked and anything you type in that last field, in our own database. We use it for one thing: sending you an invite and telling you when the alpha opens. You won't be added to a marketing list, and you can have it deleted at any time — email adam@thedailylayer.co or matt@thedailylayer.co.
Getting started
Set up.
Four screens: your name if you want one, your city, three basics — units, how dressed-up you usually are, and menswear, womenswear or unisex — then your privacy choices.
Everything optional is off by default
Tell it what you own.
Tick items off the catalogue, or photograph them one by one. This is what turns a generic outfit into yours.
The checklist is quicker, and you can photograph things later
Tune it, if you want.
In Profile: build a fit profile from two photos, connect a calendar, and set the time your morning nudge arrives.
All optional — the app works without any of them
